The Prismatic Jungle is not an area one would associate with the word "calm". More appropriate language would be "severe", "savage" and maybe even "deadly".

The Jungle itself is a dense, subtropical area, with canopies of trees, vines and foliage of all types of colors as far as the eye can see. It's a rather humid area, which is more of a haven to the resident reptilian Pokemon than others.

The Pokemon of the Jungle all adhere to one unspoken rule: kill or be killed. It's survival of the fittest around those parts. You need to be the toughest, gnarliest, Pokemon out there in order to survive. Which is why this is Dragon-Type haven, considering the natural strenght the species have. Everything is a predator and everything is prey. No Pokemon is safe.

Charizard moreso than most, seeing as they are "kill-on-sight" Pokemon, as ruled by the Jungle's tyrant, Tivoli the Tyranitar.

Tivoli rules the Jungle with an iron fist, or at least he used to. After the main instrument of his control, The Draconicello, was pilfered during Mission 4, Tivoli has lost a great deal of influence over the Jungle and many residents have defected from his ranks.

Tivoli resides within Temple of the Divine Flame, which is situated directly in the center of the Jungle. The Temple is permanently lit with torches lit with Eternal Flames imbued with moonlight. These flames prevent shadows from being cast within the Temple.

Another rule that the tyrant has decreed is that all females that catch his eye must wear a ribbon that symbolize them as belonging to him. No one is to interfere with them, except to twart an escape attempt. If a ribboned female is caught escaping, they will face his fury.Template:Clr

Missions and Events

Mission 4

Devonshire went to the jungle to scout of a way to take the Draconicello unnoticed, but the torches within the Temple of the Divine Flame made it impossible for the Sableye to venture further and was force to head back to the village. Before he was able to escape, Devonshire accidentally ran into Ribbons, causing the little Larvitar to fall under an endless nightmare.

Experienced Rogue teams were ordered to follow Devonshire back to the jungle and enter the temple while he distracted the now enraged tyrant. While inside, teams were able to find and take Tivoli's instrument and fled the jungle.

Mission 7 (Past)

After Jasmine exploded in an attempt to get away from Shade in the Illusory Woods, Mike, Master Foo, Vertigo, Sherri, and members of the Merchant guild were sent back to the past in the jungle when Tivoli was just about to begin his reign of terror. While Mike distracted Tivoli and his henchmen, Foo and the others went off to rescue Sherri from a hungry Aerodactyl and find their way out of the jungle and to Monochrome Tower.

Mike stayed behind to confront Tivoli while the others escaped. It was here when Mike finally evolved into a Charmeleon and landed a blow on the soon to be tyrant, which left a scar on his stomach.

Mission 8

Chex brought Gunpowder to the edge of the jungle to a burial ground to collect a bone the Cubone was looking for. While looking around, Gunpowder fell into the bandages of Blight, who wanted the Gabite's skin for his god. In panic, Chex went back to Tao Village and was able to recruit Chill and some Rescuers to save Gunpowder.

Epilogue

After the raid, PK suffered from blindness that was supposedly temporary, but a few days after, her sight had not returned. Micle ordered Brooke to take PK and say a prayer for her. The two ran into Crags, who was surprised Brooke still prayed despite believing her prayers were often not heard. She brushed off his words, stating he was just a mere guard and wouldn't know anything. Despite making her concerns known, PK ignored Brooke and chose to sleep in a nest of self heating eggs at the temple.

As she slept, PK met an angry Reshiram named Loire. Loire used her healing flames to bring back PK's eyesight but only if the Kecleon told her of her jungle's fate during her absence. PK told her of Tivoli and how the jungle now belonged to him. Loire was furious to learn of this and how her dragons where forced by an instrument to follow the tyrant, however, she took her time to ponder about her actions to Tivoli. She said she would take her time and made PK leave her dream.
