Zhu is a quiet and peaceful Emboar who loves to make fireworks. He carries his fireworks in a bag made from the scales of his late master, a shiny Charizard who lived in a volcanic region to the north of Tao Village. He also carries a rake for protection. He tends to try to keep to himself so you could consider him a hermit, save for the fact that the sisters Tam and Aya won't leave him be. Tam and Aya love to cheer him on in whatever he's doing, using sparks as pom-poms when they're feeling really energetic. Despite him not asking for their attention and companionship, he does appreciate the sisters' company.
His (and Tam and Aya's) home is in Snowy Village.
History
It is said that he had trained with his late master for many years in the art of fireworks.
Fireworks Bonanza
Every year, Zhu would leave his home in the mountains and travel to nowhere in particular just to thaw himself out. He was near Creeping Forest when his bag (whom he had entrusted to Tam and Aya) were stolen by the Slasher Gang when they were sleeping.
He came upon the nearby Tao Village for assistance. He spoke to PK, Mike, Chill, Gunpowder and Devonshire for help. Teams were set out to collect them and for an award he gave them an Evolutionary Scroll. Before he went, he set up a fireworks show for the whole village to watch.
Mission 4
Shiv, a miscreant Skarmory used the Icicle Triangle to kidnap most of the residents of Snowy Village, including Tam and Aya. Zhu, Shao and Barkley were not kidnapped and teamed up with Chill and the Rescuers to get them back. They successfully defeated him and Tam and Aya were freed. Template:Clr

Tam the Plusle is an energetic Pokemon who likes to cheer on Zhu along with her sister, Aya. She uses spark-like pom-poms to cheer Zhu up whilst he is making fireworks.
She lives with Zhu and Tam in Snowy Village.
History
