Syrup is Mike's and Maple's mother, a now a retired, but well-known rogue. Syrup now lives in Prairie Cottage on the outskirts of Gambitville. Having grown up a harsh environment, Syrup had to learn how to be a rough and tough Pokémon in order to survive. She has no qualms eating other Pokémon, or in doing what she wants, regardless of what others may think of her. While she usually resides in her home, she gets the drive to adventure from time to time and leaves her hometown for long periods of time.
Syrup has a wide range of hobbies and likes. She brews her own alcohol, hunts for wild game, loves to try out new foods, mostly stuff prepared from Donahue, from Gambitville.
She also travels extensively when her adventurer flare starts to act up.
History
When she was born, Syrup's mother left her good-for-nothing drunkard of a father. She was mostly raised by a Miltank and from that
relationship developed a taste and love for milk.
One of Syrup's best childhood friends was a Ponyta named Cybil. However that friendship promptly ended after Cybil broke two of her legs after jumping from a high sand dune (after being coerced by Syrup). Cybil's parents, finding fault with Syrup refused to allow the two to see each other. After a week of separation, the Ponyta's family moved away. Syrup's parents told her that there was a possibility evolution would be able to fix Cybil's legs. In addition, her mother's castigation of her actions prompted Syrup to find her own strength in evolution. This inspired Syrup to seek out her friend again. However she has yet to accomplish that goal.
Syrup at some point visited a doctor and was told that she would probably never have children, and while she was able to have Maple, she was weak from birth, evident by her less pronounced cheeks. Syrup trained her to be tough, even tougher than Mike, yet she gets mad at Mike whenever he is not protecting her. It's been implied that this weakness is why she wants Mike to hurry up and evolve (plus she wants grandchildren).
Mission 3
Syrup was awarded a prize by the Rogue's Guild for her achievements while she was active. While Mike tried to sabotage the ceremony with mixed success, she ended up not staying in Tao Village, but leaving Maple with Mike.

Mike's sister, she came alongside Syrup to visit Tao Village on the Rogues' request. She loves both her mother, Syrup, and Mike, so she tries to stay on good terms with both of them. It is revealed in Reprieve that her biological father is Mac, a Krookodile bounty hunter back in Gambitville
Mission and Events
Mission 3
Syrup brought Maple along to Tao Village to receive an award from the Rogues Guild. She loved the village (and Chill) so much that she decided to stay with her big brother.
A Deal
Maple somehow went into PK's room and found a quiet Deino. She and Sandy got along really well and quickly became friends. Maple was able to drag her brother in to meet her new friend and mentioned what a cool dragon Sandy was, despite PK in the background yelling at her for stinking up her room.
After Mike and PK struck a deal, the Kecleon invited Maple to stay for dinner and ice cream later so that she could play with Sandy a bit longer.
Mission 4
When Chill went to Snowy Village, Maple tagged along, to Mike's annoyance. She was kidnapped along with some of the villagers. She returned to Tao Village unharmed, along with the Delibird messenger who delivered Chill's letter to Mike.
Mission 5
Maple is able to play the Icicle Triangle, and as such she volunteered to assist Fresnel, Gunpowder and Dmitri in distracting Sorbet when he attacked Tao Village.
Mission 6
After Mike left the village for a few months, Maple assists Fresnel with the guild and begins a search party with Winston and other members of the guild to find and help anyone injured from the Sorbet incident.
The Dates
Maple was playing with Sandy by throwing at her water balloons and seeing how Sandy would evade them (some of them at least). She then became bored and went down to see what else they could both possibly play to conquer boredom. When Maple noticed Sandy was acting weird, she suggested that they both played 'Truth or Dare' to get the truth out of the Deino about why she was acting up weird. She was, however, instead of helping, making the Deino nervous and Sandy set off running away from her.
When Maple caught up to Sandy, she continued trying to pressure the truth out of her, until Rhodes intervened and allowed Sandy to escape. Rhodes held Maple upside down while trying to take her away from the crowd when she decided to try to spray Rhodes. Luckily for Rhodes, she failed, but the act, she sprayed a female Machop who was passing by. Rhodes then threatened her, saying that he would tell everything to Fresnel about what she had been doing, much to Maple's discontent.
Mission 7
Following the disappearance of Mike and others in the Illusory Woods, Maple has become somewhat depressed. As an attempt to cheer her and the other villagers up, Archbishop Gabriel suggested to Maple to hand out food and homemade trinkets to teams who may have lost a teammate.
Tasks
Rescue teams were asked by Fresnel to babysit Maple for a bit. After borrowing one of his instruments, Maple and the teams put on a show for all of the disgruntled Pokemon from the tenements. This task was worth one point.
