One night, sometime following the events of [[Mission 5]], Callahan found himself a Dratini in the [[Creeping Forest]]. He offered to take her home with him to have a meal and spend the cold night there, assuring that he had no intention in eating her. As it turned out, Zaru was quite the story teller, with many tales to tell, which the Ninetales wrote down, in hopes of turning the notes into a book later on.

He, however, changed his mind and followed his boss' orders after she threatened to have all his personal books sent back to his house, which is far away from the village.

Zaru found herself homeless after the events of [[Mission 5]].  With nowhere to go, she erected a shelter on her own, which was quite difficult, as Dratini have no hands. This shelter was proved to be inadequate, however, as it did not do much to protect her from the elements. During a particularly stormy night she was found by Callahan who offered her a meal and a place to sleep. Despite her reluctance (worried she would become a meal) the Ninetales managed to convince her to follow him home.

In return for his hospitality he asked the Dratini to share the stories she knew. Zaru told him fairy tales from her childhood as well as stories she had created herself, which seemed to please Callahan. He promised her to write them down for her before finally letting her get some rest. When she awoke the next morning she discovered he had written down all of her stories already. Upon being asked to give feedback, Zaru had to admit she could not read. She promised to return when she had learned how, but Callahan had other plans. Proclaiming Zaru did not have any means to learn how to read, he offered to teach her himself.

Having come from Dusty Woods, Callahan is rather foreign. Everyone is unsure if he's shiny, or if he's just gray and scruffy from the passage of time. Perhaps if his tail tips weren't stained with black ink, it would be possible to tell. Alas! He certainly appears to have many stories from many times stored in his head. He's taken it upon himself to help relieve the guilds of filling out paperwork concerning their guild members; organization is something he quite excels at.

Of course, they pay him for keeping track of it all, and in exchange, they don't have to bother. His records are accurate and precise in every detail. This saves the guild leaders a lot of time that might have been wasted on filling out forms instead of furthering their guilds' causes.

It's pretty obvious to anyone who meets him that he quite enjoys heckling. It's probably just in his nature as a Ninetales (or so it's thought).

Missions and Events

Narrator

One night, sometime following the events of Mission 5, Callahan found himself a Dratini in the Creeping Forest. He offered to take her home with him to have a meal and spend the cold night there, assuring that he had no intention in eating her. As it turned out, Zaru was quite the story teller, with many tales to tell, which the Ninetales wrote down, in hopes of turning the notes into a book later on.

The next day, after some further teasing with the idea that he could eat her if he wanted to, Callahan offered Zaru to teach her how to read and a place to stay, instead of living in the forest in the shelter she had attempted to build herself. She accepted and is now considered to be his assistant as Guild Registrar.

Event 6 Suckers

On a hot day during the course of Event 6, Callahan was admiring the work that being done by all guild members and amazed on the amount of Pokemon who were willing to do such labor for free. PK told the Ninetales to join the Pokemon in their planting but he refused to do so. He, however, changed his mind and followed his boss' orders after she threatened to have all his personal books sent back to his house, which is far away from the village.

Callahan began planting with the rest of the village until PK began to hear complaints about the heat and how the weather was getting worse. It was then when she realized why Callahan tended to stay indoors; the Ninetales had the ability of Drought. She ordered him to get back inside before the rest of the Pokemon suffered from a heat stroke.

Mission 7

Callahan asked the Merchants to go to Castle Draclugia and retrieve a few books he placed an order for but failed to receive from Lexy. He warns them of Merlot and how she won't offer any more hospitality to any of the villagers since Devonshire was among those who disappeared.

Event 7

Sometime after Mission 7, Callahan began to spread word throughout Tao Village that Shroomsworth had information concerning the missing Pokemon. He insisted on the Breloom to enter PK's room and open her safe if he wanted to satisfy the villager's need for information.

Referred to almost exclusively as "Foxy" by Micle, Callahan is excellent at making and setting off traps to defend Tao from intruders.

Missions and Events

Event 7

In the past, Callahan worked for Micle and went under the name Foxy. His presence in the village shocked PK but he was able to reassure the Kecleon that the letters would reach the hands of everyone back in the present. It is revealed as well that Callahan's coloration was that of a normal Ninetales.

Mission 8

As Micle and Mike left to kill the guardian of the Tree of Life, Foxy and PK were left in charge of defending the outer edge of Tao Village from the Dark Moon Clan. He, along with other guild members, set up moondust traps for him and PK to set off during the raid. Their main objective was to kill the day puppet named Eclipse.

Mission 8 Epilogue

After the raid, Foxy met Devonshire as he returned from his trip to Castle Draclugia. He spoke of how the raid went and of Perry's fate. When asked, Foxy told Devonshire that while it was Micle's business to reveal how he obtain the land from the Zoroark tribe, he knew it was obtained in a fair deal. He also disclosed the location of the burial grounds where the Zoroark took their dead.

Tasks

In this task, Foxy is extremely disappointed that many guild members recognize the Ninetales, meaning he would live through all the raids on the village by the Dark Moon Clan. Since he will now forever know this, he no longer sees the raids as thrilling. He asked any guild members to meet him out in a field and fight him until he is close to death in hopes of forgetting that he will survive the monthly attacks. For entertaining him, Foxy offered participants a book from his small collection. Template:Clr

Now Callahan's assistant, Zaru spends her time helping the Ninetales with various tasks, improving her reading skills and, whenever she has some spare time, hanging out at Sleepytime Books.

Missions and Events

Narrator

Zaru found herself homeless after the events of Mission 5.

Tasks

While each of the guilds are busy with their own goals, many odd jobs around Tao Village have popped up. Zaru was placed in charge of organizing and announcing tasks to guild members.

For the first task, Zaru asked members of the Merchant guild to search for a book she borrowed from Sleepytime Books within Callahan's office.
