Sporegard was a young Shroomish from Sapling Village who lived in the Shroomish Hub, where Shroomsworth was born. Shroomsworth is Sporegard's role-model and is aspiring to be like him like trying to adopt his accent, which he fails at doing. He is distinct from the other Shroomish by his black bow-tie.

After the death of the Elder Shroom, it was decided that Sporegard would take his place. In order for the village to take him seriously, Shroomsworth asked Master Foo to help Sporegard evolve into a Breloom.

History

Sporegard was born in the Shroomish Hub like all of his siblings. After Shroomsworth's successful career in Sapling Village, life in the Shroomish Hub became better. His siblings played with their new toys, but Sporegard wanted to be just like Shroomsworth.

Mission 2 Epilogue

After Shroomsworth's successful delivery of eggs to Sapling Village, he went to visit his "siblings" and bore gifts. He gave Sporegard a dashing black bow-tie.

Shroomsworth invited Sporegard to visit Tao Village and to see how the village worked. He wanted to give the Shroomish an idea of what he would eventually have to do. Shroomsworth knew Elder Shroom was getting old and knew that someone would need to take over. Shroomsworth wanted to begin teaching his brother and getting him ready for the job.

Event 3 Epilogue

Sporegard wanted to get books froms Arianna's library, but she shut him out.

Mission 6 Prologue

Sporegard left early in the morning to deliver a letter from Arianna to Shroomsworth. The sun hadn't even come up and it had started to freeze. The Elder Shroom found him and shielded him from the cold with his own body and perished, although Sporegard thought he was just sleeping.

Successor

Sporegard was still crying when he was reunited with Shroomsworth; he was the only Shroomish child to go to the burial ceremony of the Elder Shroom. The next day, he accompanied Shroomsworth, along with Rhodes to the Commerce Mushroom, where the three spent the day selling berries.

By the end of tale, it was decided that Sporegard was to become the next Elder of the village. However, Shroomish were looked upon as children by the other Sapling residence, depite their true age. So in order for the village to take Sporegard seriously as a leader, Shroomsworth asked Master Foo to help Sporegard evolve into a Breloom.

Tasks

After the events of Mission 8, Sporegard welcomed his brother and members of the Merchant guild to the village. He allowed merchants for this task to set up their shops in the Commerce Mushroom, but only if they donated a portion of their profits to the village. This was worth one point.

In this task, Sporegard has had trouble kicking out a certain vendor in the Commerce Mushroom. The Scraggy appeared to be selling certain berries that are illegal through the entire continent of Tao. Since Trudeau was in charge in running and organizing the tasks, the Nidoking asked Rescuers to kick out the Scraggy from the market for one point.
