Tree of Life

An enormous sacred tree far to the west of Tao Village. Its flowers, leaves, bark, roots, and most notably its sap have unimaginable healing properties. The tree is fiercely guarded by numerous Shaymin, who Micle refers to as "little puffballs". They drive back any intruders along side the tree's main guardian, Ceylon. The golden sap of the tree may only be drawn out if the blood of the guardian is spilled upon it.

Mission 8 (Past)

While a majority of Pokemon stayed behind to defend the village for the Dark Moon Clan, Mike and Micle recruit some guild members and headed towards the Tree of Life in order to obtain some of the tree's sap and use it to heal Jasmine. Upon arrival, however, the group was immediately attacked by the guardian, Ceylon. The Shaymin repeated what Micle had told Mike what must be done in order to obtain the sap; kill Ceylon and spill his blood on the tree. The Charmeleon attempted to reason with the Sky Shaymin, in hopes that there was another way of getting the sap. Upon hearing Jasmine's name, Ceylon told Mike if the Celebi were meant to live, then he would have to die. With the help of the guild members, Ceylon was killed, the sap was taken, and then carried back to the village in a scared vessel.
