As he prepared to set off, the Buizel gave him a pair of goggles as a token of his friendship. In return, Barty promised he would return one day and share all that happened on his adventure. He then bid farewell to the place he had called home and set off into the unknown, with only the familiar sea to keep him company.

After greeting his friends and family once again, he told them about the many people and places he had visited over the course of his journey.

In his time spent there, he noticed that the village seemed... isolated. Perhaps it was his ability to fly, but traveling to or from the village seemed to require a lot of footwork. Watching all of the teams have to walk so much for their missions gave him an idea. He talked with the Guild leaders, who agreed to fund a transportation system in the Village, as it would be a significant help to the guilds. Barty and his two brothers (who had developed respectable monetary skills by this time) then established Barty's Bluff within the town.

Bartholomew the Drifblim runs Barty's Bluff, transporting guild members and their belongings anywhere they wish free of charge. He runs the service alongside his two Drifloon brothers, Orville and Wilbur. He commands his "Drifleet," a group of Drifloon who work at the Bluff.
