Slush the Delibird, owner of Delectable Delicatessens in Snowy Village.
He has always been interested in cooking and food. The lack of a tasty goods shop in Snowy Village annoyed him, so he solved the problem himself. He's not even interested in profiting so much as simply preparing good meals for those who come in. He only asks that they do a task in exchange if they can't pay, such as giving some firewood, doing dishes, cleaning tables, etc.
He and Chill grew up together as childhood friends.
He always keeps a green string tied around his tail-bag for fear that its contents will spill out otherwise. (Silly...)
