The closest thing to a Police force that Tao Village has, the Patrat Patrol is a group of Patrats run by Vergil and Scout, a shiny Watchog and Patrat, to act as security guards and officers. Since Tao Village has no set laws, they need to be paid to perform their services. They seem to prefer working with Merchants and Rescuers rather than Rogues, however.
