Mission 5 Epilogue

After acquiring Devonshire's library card, Lexy was able to open up a safe in the castle's library. Within the safe was a letter written by Shinar before his departure. In the letter, Shinar wrote why he made it so difficult to obtain the letter, hoping that no one would be sent out looking for him. He also mentions some references to nightmares and the reason for his departure; to seek out more information that is not available with the walls of Castle Draclugia. He ends the letter with a vow to return one day and share all that he had learned during his travels.

Mission 8 Prologue

Shinar was called upon Devon to gather all information that was known about the tribe of the golden-eyed Zoroark. When he returned with the few notes about the tribe in hand, the Abra was shocked to see that Devon was not alone. He was wary of Devonshire's presence but the Sableye assured Shinar he meant no harm. He handed over the note he had on the rituals of the Zoroark tribe to the two.

After Devonshire left for Tao Village, Shinar questioned Devon on whether it was wise to trust and follow his future self's instructions. The Marowak captain said he had no intentions of dying or in failing in his mission. Shinar understood but refused to give the captain the lute he needed from the library's safe, in fear that course of action would eventually lead to Devon's death.
