A tyrant leader of the Prismatic Jungle, he enforces only one law in the land: The weak die and the strong live. He holds power over many Dragon and Dragon-like Pokemon through the exploit of the Draconicello. He forces all girls residing in the jungle to wear ribbons identifying them as such.

Mission 4

Devonshire attempts to enter Tivoli's temple, but a mysterious quality in the torches' fire inside the temple causes him to lose his form. Realising he cannot enter the temple, Devonshire fled, and accidentally caused Ribbons to have terrible nightmares. Tivoli was enraged, and engaged Devonshire in battle, which Devonshire easily dominated, providing the distraction needed for his Rogue subordinates to enter the temple in his place and aquire the Draconicello.

Once the Draconicello was removed, Ribbons' nightmares worsened. Tivoli plans retribution, despite losing the hold he had on the non-Dragon typed residents of the jungle.

Mission 7

When half of the residents of Tao Village were sent to the past thanks to a certain incident between Shade the Zoroark and Jasmine the Celebi, all of the Merchants, along with Mike the Charmander, Master Foo the Meinfoo, and Vertigo the Spinda, found themselves in Prismatic Jungle a couple centuries in the past. They witnessed Tivoli forcefully yanking up a statue of Loire the Reshiram and dumping it into a river, claiming that the goddess' word no longer held any truth in his jungle. It is widely believed that this was the start of Tivoli's rule, suggesting that he is actually hundreds of years old.

Mission 4

Ribbons had an unfortunate encounter with Devonshire, who tried to enter the Temple unsuccessfully. She falls into a relentless nightmare from which she won't wake. Template:Clr
