Koopa is an escavalier who migrated to Mossy village from parts unknown, and serves as the village's primary form of defence and law enforcement.
Although not a traditional police pokemon, Koopa instead uses his intimidating appearance to deter possible fights breaking out in the village, and to deal with any outsiders (non-bugs) from causing trouble in town.
Koopa is known to watch out for smaller bugs such as caterpie and wurmple in particular, an incident early on in his days in Mossy Village seeming to warrant the extra protection. In any event in which the village is being attacked, Koopa makes sure the smaller bugs are safe and out of the way before he deals with the invaders.
Koopa is also known to be a little bias against any pokemon other than bug type, and will keep a stern eye on visitors who don't fit the type. Template:Clr
