Pal had been hired to paint a mural on a wall in the daycare, but he passed the task down to Palette instead. The Zoroark met the three children and, after a conversation with Tohne, she took them all back to the studio so they could paint out their nightmares. The three children made a mess, just in time for Pal to come home and see. Palette began to explain who the children and their mother were but that only led to an argument causing a rift between the two painters. Before leaving for the daycare, Palette had each of the children paint out their dreams and explained to her. She then stayed with Missy for four days, completing the mural, before Pal appeared and took her home. The two would then dance and reconcile.

It was then PK realized of Callahan's Drought ability and ordered him to go back inside his office.

It had been a very long time since any Pokemon was able to land a hit on Devonshire, but he wasn't mad at his partner for doing so; on the contrary, he was very concerned. Devonshire feared Gunpowder recollection of his past may be a sign of someone using the [[Draconicello]] on him. He warned Gunpowder to be careful until the instrument could be found. Devonshire also gave back the Gabite's eye patch and returned to organizing his note for a visit to [[Lexy]] at the castle. Gunpowder went back to his room and began to cry. Dmitri eventually came around and held the Gabite in comfort. The Zangoose refused to leave his side until Gunpowder felt better.

Not realizing who he was or his relationship with the Kecleon, Shroomsworth told him she was currently not here and refused to allow him in. Twigs, with use of his sharp claws, allowed himself to enter the hut and again asked where PK was. He was heading towards her room when Shroomsworth blocked him from entering any further. Twigs then set his brother-in-law, [[Styx]], loose on the shop and the Meowth began to break expensive products, all while speaking strange sentences. Shroomsworth was able to catch Styx, but only after Twigs returned from PK's room and confirmed for himself that his girl wasn't around. Twig's hint about his relationship with PK caught the Breloom off guard.

Gunpowder began to take his anger out on Sorbet, but the dragon did not take it personally since he had seen what happened. Sorbet advised Gunpowder to stop trying to be something he's not and took off his eye patch. To make up for his tardiness, Gunpowder paid for an entire crate of oran berries in hard cash. While Shroomsworth at first didn't appear to acknowledge the intention of the Rogue's gesture, he did accept Gunpowder's apology.

Outraged, Mike headed to the Merchant Hut to confront PK but before he could speak, his little sister, [[Maple]], came out of the Kecleon's room and wanted to show her brother something. She had met and quickly befriended Sandy. The Dieno didn't speak much to Mike but he was happy to see his sister made a friend.

One day, Missy had her hands full and asked the Zangoose to get some food from the Merchant Hut for the little ones to eat. She handed him some poke and sent him on his way. Dmitri did has he was told and took enough berries for all to eat, but failed to pay. As a result, a very angry PK chased him throughout the village and back to the Daycare. She began to yell, upsetting the kids who were already eating their food, when Dmitri offered the Kecleon the glowing round poke Missy had given him earlier. Realizing Dmitri's ignorance of money and how it works, PK took the poke without anymore fuss and left.
