The Icy Cavern is a location just outside of Tao Village. It is the location of Kyrum's alter, better known as the God Alter. It was the sight of the main mission for [[Mission 3]].

Merchant teams had to escort PK to the alter at the core of the cavern. They also had to fight past the spirits of long dead Pokemon who had fallen in the cavern. Afterword, PK got deathly sick from exposure to the extreme temperatures of the cavern.
