 During [[Sorbet]]'s rampage, villagers evacuated through [[Devonshire]]'s tunnels under his law firm. The tunnels eventually led to the library at Castle Draclugia. Just as Merlot was about to confront the huge crowd of refugees, she recognized Devonshire and began to cry, asking her old friend where he had been.
