They don't *really* fear me... I mean, they're like... 30+ times the size of me, and just about every time one comes near me it tries to eat me... *sidenote: If you watched the anim of me drawing... I just could not figure out what I wanted to draw... |

Well. Im thankful it got all kinds of detailed in the end. The sketchy texture lines. grit teeth. tech details... My fav part is the solid visor, how the tint is made with a concentric texture only on the edge. (which looks cool, and. is realistic) ...Considering your previous pics, is this a MLP? ... The juxtapose of simple MLP style with detailed combat equipment is something I wouldnt have expected. I like it. |

Yup, yup. I think I listened to Danger Zone (by Kenny Loggins) a bazillion times while drawing this. Been drawing a lot of MLP recently, actually... So, I'm finally writing a story I've been fending off for 2 years now. My cousin Nomi (in Germany) is talking to me on Skype (I'm in CA, USA), and says to me she wants to read what I've been writing recently. So, in a lie (because I haven't written anything that doesn't have teh furry smuts in it for a long time, and that would be a bit awkward to send to a relative...), I send her an old .txt doc of this teaser I wrote yeeears ago (2). Except, my plan backfires~! A few minutes later, and she says, I quote, " oh my, so get to writing more! " And I'm like... "wat?! NO~! I'm teh layzee!" But SHE is all (quoting again) " 'tis the good type of work, I wanna see three chapters done by thanksgiving =) " Now, normally, I don't take much belief in peoples opinions of my stuff being 'the good type'. I figure I'm about average, or slightly under. HOWEVER. Nomi actually writes her own, and edits other peoples, real books (that get mass produced and sold for real munnies), and even has a comic of her own that she somehow manages to cram in during her 'downtime'! (she does the art and everything herself) It is in German, though. If you can read that, it's called Zucker Fische (Sugar Fishes). It is about her life and stuff, with friends mostly, and is pretty good in my esteemed opinion. :3 So now I'm writing 75k words before Thanksgivings. Which is at the end of November. Anyways, needed a banner to rally behind, as people are already harassing me on SoFurry.com, where I left the teaser at originally. Well, 'people' as in one guy, but he spews enough from his mouth to really make up for being the only one... It would appear that... I've posted this in Oekaki section... I thought I was in the doodle... My bad... :( Could someone shift that over? (Edited on September 15, 2011, 1:25 am) |
